Lift Recliner

Recovering after shoulder surgery is often difficult and frustrating. Without the use of your arm, daily activities and needs will have to be adapted or put off until you are fully healed. You will attend physical therapy and be given exercises to help with the recovery process. You will most likely have to sleep in a semi-reclined state for up to 6 weeks. With this we have our lift recliners or hospital beds. With the adjustable back on both, you can adjust to your comfort with the push of a button. If you can sleep in a recliner, you may want to just use that. If you get the hospital bed for sleeping, you may want to use the lift chair so you don’t spend all your time in bed. For pain management, we offer ice therapy machines that would wrap around your surgical site. The machine would then circulate ice cold water to help with pain, swelling, and help with the healing process. Bathing and toilet use may be difficult with the lack of use of one arm.
